Bertha visits Bermuda
 

It's Saturday afternoon and the rain has started!! Latest forecasts are giving us rain through Tuesday with tropical storm force winds, as we are positioned just on the western edge of Bertha. The surf is very high on the South Shore beaches, and there will likely be some sand loss, although if we are lucky, it will re-deposit itself in a few weeks.
Updates will be forthcoming as long as we have electricity!

Well, what do you know? We woke up this morning to a downgraded storm and SUNNY skies!! WhooHoo!! My sweet BF even snuck off to the golf course! Still looking for high winds and rain, but she's slowed down quite a bit.

It's Monday about 3pm, we're getting gusts of high winds and LOTS of rain today - I just had a peek at the Hurricane Center Satellite image and Bermuda is positioned just on the western edge of her eye. This should be as bad as it gets.

I will be out and about Wed or Thurs this week and will have a look at the beaches and give y'all an idea of how much damage she's done to our pretty pink sands!
