Bermuda - reasonable restaurants
My husband, 13 year old son and I, are going to Bermuda on Friday for a long weekend. We are staying at the Hamilton Fairmont. I am wondering if anyone has some reasonably priced restaurants that they can recommend?
Thanks! |
Well, everyone's definition of "reasonable" is different but I'll suggest the following as generally less expensive than some of the other Hamilton eateries:
Portofino http://www.portofino.bm/index.html Hog Penny http://www.hogpennypub.com/ Pickled Onion http://www.thepickledonion.com/ Flanagan's http://www.flanagans.bm/ La Trattoria http://www.latrattoria.bm/ Lemon Tree Cafe http://www.lemontreecafe.bm/ Keep in mind that menu prices include all taxes and gratuity (for the most part). One restaurant I can think of - Mad Hatter's - leaves the tip to your discretion, but that is unusual in Bermuda. Just keep that in mind when reviewing the menu prices - they are all inclusive. |
Thank you so very much for the suggestions!

You are welcome. Enjoy Bermuda - you will love it. Do check with the concierge at the hotel as there might be some new family friendly restaurants I haven't thought of. Also, I just noticed the menu for La Trattoria indicates all prices are subject to 17% service charge - just check the fine print on the menu or, in doubt, ask. All service staff are very friendly.

Bouchee, Tribe Road Kitchen, Angelo's Bistro...and everything Bette suggested. Have fun!

Thanks so much for the additional recommendations! We are looking forward to Bermuda.
