Bermuda Cottages

Plan to go to Bermuda in June and would like to rent affordable cottage on south side within walking distance to beaches. We are a family of four 2 adults, 2 teenager. Any info on what to see and do would be appreciated.

Try Glen-Mar Holiday in Paget and speak to Sally Ann. Nice accomodations for a family of four. The upper unit is quite large, 2 bedrooms,1 bath, full sized kitchen, living room and nice deck. You can walk to Elbow Beach from here and a grocery store is right across the street. Rate are real reasonable.
Good site for info on Bermuda is www.bermudatourism.com and www.accessbda.bm. Have fun!

I was in Bermuda last July, twice in a month because my husband and I totally fell in love with a place called MUNRO BEACH COTTAGES in Southhampton. The cottages are on a beautiful private beach and right adjacent to the Port Royal Golf Club. The cottages are for 2 to 4 people, they have a full kitchen, BBQ, sun chairs, back yard and an amazing view. The local market will deliver groceries if you want. The owners of the cottage are super nice and th rates are @$198 per night, for the cottage. You'll love it.

I'm leaving for Bermuda in two days- just a quick trip over Easter weekend with a couple
of friends. No members of our party has been to Bermuda before and we would certainly appreciate any and all info anyone has on must sees when in Bermuda. Because our time is so short, I was looking for specific places/restaurants/beaches etc. that one should not miss when in Bermuda. Any info at all would be helpful. Thanks!

Michelle - What a nice way to spend Easter! As far as must see/do, if you enjoy the beach, don't miss Horseshoe Bay. Rent mopeds and tour the island and go to Dockyard where there are shops and historic buildings to explore. Hamilton is great for shopping, too. Take a ferry ride and enjoy the colorful houses along Hamilton harbor. As far as restaurants go - try to get reservations at Waterlot for their Sunday brunch (ask for seating outside). You eat alongside the water & the food is fabulous!
The Lobster Pot in Hamilton is nice and you've got to try a rum swizzle at the Swizzle Inn (near the airport). Have a great time!
