bermuda buses
Can anyone give me an estimate of time from St.George's to Hamilton? To Horseshoe Bay? Elbow Beach? Port Royal Golf Course?
I would like to plan how much traveling around I can do in 2 Days. Thanks for any help! |
Depending on which #bus you take it maybe 30 minutes, but there is now a high speed ferry from St. George that you can use your bus pass on. For other info go to.
http://server2.ezboard.com/bbermudashortsforum Will be there myself in two weeks from today..Remember to have Bermudaful Days!! |
It takes a good 40-45 minutes to get from Hamilton to St. George. It's a beautiful ride and you get to see a lot of the island. From Hamilton to Horshoe Bay,it's about 20-25 minutes. You should get an all-day pass and you can use on the ferries as well. Get a bus schedule -- these are very helpful and they also contain the ferry schedules.
You can see alot in 2 days -- not everything so pick your highlights. Where are you staying?? |
Parrotmom:
Have a wonderful time {I know you will}. Here's hoping that after our October cruise I will be announcing our return trip like you folks. |

We are cruising from Boston on the Majesty. We WILL have a serene trip down,I know, no matter what anyone tells me about the October seas. Looking forward to a very relaxing and fun trip. |
FYI: The ferry between St. George's and Hamilton, stopping at the Dockyards, is only seasonal. It stops sometime in October, I think, so pay attention to the fine print on any schedules.
You can accomplish a lot of Bermuda in two days, but as the comments show below, pick your priorities. We've been to Bermuda many times, and enjoy it each time, but we usually go in August for the beaches, are not golfers, etc. and etc. |
