La Cabana Resort in Aruba (www.Lacabana.com) has an all-inclusive option and seems great for families (we were there as a couple but the families all seemed to be having a great time) Has condo-style accommodations -- we loved Aruba -- clean, safe, friendly. I thought the La Cabana prices were a good value.

Stayed at La Cabana last November and had a toddler with us. This resort is not on the beach. You need to cross a street, small but has two lanes and alot of traffic. The rooms closest to the beach are time share. The rooms in the back building are a good jaunt to the beach, especially if you are carrying kids or their stuff. There are two pools behind the back building - one with a water slide which children enjoyed. The beach used by La Cabana guests is nice. If you are looking for shade, however, some people go down at 6 a.m. and stake out the shady areas. Even though there is a sign that indicates you can't do that. Complaints to La Cabana personnel didn't stop it. I think, like anywhere, you make your own time. I didn't see anything geared specifically for kids other than the water slide. There are some Cabanas ( you need to tip and they do run out) <BR>They do have a babysitting service, though, if you are interested. We did not use it. All in all. we were not impressed with La Cabana even though we had heard great things about it. We have also travelled to Ocean Club (Turks and Caicos) and loved that. On beach, big container of toys for the kids, spacious screened in porch, lovely units.
