Bavaro Princess Punta Cana
 

Has anyone stayed at Bavaro Princess All Suites Resort? Would you recommend it. Also, I've heard there is a $10 each arrival and departure fee in D.R. Can anyone confirm.

The departure fee is now $20US, no arrival fee.

I haven't stayed at this hotel, but have heard lots of good things.

Arrival fee (visa) (US) is ten dollars and no departure fee.

We stayed there in 2005. It was nice, not luxurious, but it is very reasonably priced and we had our 4 boys aged 6-13 then. Very large facility. Shuttles run all day, never waited more than 10 minutes or so. Friendly staff, limited English language speakers. Bathrooms kind of skeevy I remember. The one thing we did was upgrade to their VIP package which allowed us to book in the sit down restaurants not just forced to buffet. In all if you are looking for a decent place with decent food it is a great inexpensive spot.

I stayed at this resort 2 years ago. I am going back to the D.R. this Thursday. WILL NOT BE STAYING AT THIS RESORT. That should tell you something.
