Barbados with kids

Hi Everyone,
We are planning on travelling to Barbados with two kids (3 & 5) at the end of January 2008. Does anyone have any recent experiences with resorts, particularly all-inclusives that are moderately priced?

hi there. Not sure if you are still looking. We stayed at Bougainvillea last year with 3 kids under 4 and it was great. Condo style hotel - clean simple nothing fancy with a great kids club M-F from 10-2.

Thanks "travelwithkidz" for your feedback. We stayed next door at the Barbados Beach Club (BBC) and went to check out Bougainvillea. It looked great and after staying at the BBC, which was very good, with a 3 and 5 year old, having a room where we can prepare a quick breakfast or lunch, and eat dinner early (probably take-out) an arrangement similar to Bougainvillea sounds totally great. All inclusives are great if you drink a lot and are prepared to sit down and wait for service, however, with two easily distracted kids, a quick breakfast or lunch in a kitchenette unit would be great. Furthermore, at BBC, dinner didn't start until 7 p.m. which was too late for our kids.
