Barbados or Curacao with toddler???
Hi All,
I'm planning a Caribbean spring vacation for my family, which includes my husband and I, and our 3 yr old daughter. I've narrowed it down to the Hilton in Barbados or the Hyatt in Curacao. My question is, which island is better suited for a little one. She loves the beach, so we'll spend plenty of time there. However, I also want to venture away from the resort and experience the culture, sightsee, have family fun. Is it true that the beaches in Curacao are rocky? Thanks in advance for your advice. |
The beaches in Curacao are made of crushed coral, so water shoes are a must.

Good to know. Thanks.

I would say Barbados. The beaches there are WAAAAAY nicer than anything you'll find in Curacao. Don't get me wrong...I enjoyed Curacao, but with a toddler I'd definitely choose Barbados.

Ok, I do have a longer list of things to do in Barbados, but that Hyatt is sooo beautiful. Since the beaches are priority for us, Barbados it is. Thanks for the tips!
@qwovadis- In my hotel search I read reviews about the beach at the Fairmont not being so great, any truth to that? |
the kidsclub at Hyatt is AMAZING though..
