Barbados - Is it a good place to go on vacation?
 

I was hoping someone could tell me if Barbados is a good place to go on vacation. We are hoping to go in January and love to lay on the beach. Any suggestions would be appreciated. What are of the island is best to go to?

Barbados is a wonderfully varied island with everything the islands have to offer except for a volcano. And it is the "Endless Summer." Wide range of accommodations, beaches, sightseeing, restaurants, entertainment.

Okay, while Barbados is lovely, if you ask 20 people such a general question (where to go) without saying anything about you, you'll get 20 different answers.

Your question is way to general, ALL islands in Caribbean (except for Saba) offer beaches, etc.

So you need to tell us more if you truly want help:

Budget
Whose going
Tastes (hilly or Corona commercial beaches)
Activities
level of hotel
car rental or not

etc

We've been there twice and loved it.

Been quite a few times and yes, it's a great island for a vacation however general the question.
