How can one tell if they have stomach flu or some parasite from the water??

I have a bio degree, which doesn't make me an expert....but medical tests can determine if you have a parasite. Bacteria can be cultured from stool samples. Flus are viruses , which won't show up in tests and will not respond to antibiotics.

Sorry, charlie. no cigar. Antibiotics don't work on viruses, only bacterial infections. If you don't feel better with a few days like you would with the flu or a cold, better head to the doctor. Flu symptoms might include some cold symptoms, fever and a temp.

Doc, I sure wouldn't want you working on me. The poster said that antibiotics DON'T work on viruses. I guess hooked on Phonics didn't work for you.
