Regarding the music thing, there are lots of Calypso and Reggae music discs for sale all over St. John made by local or Caribbean artists. I have a small collection. It is low season so the live performances are not as common. But Marley is always great as well as UB40. St. John is starting to be known for its Jazz In The Moonlight series which occur 2-3 times a year. As for Jimmy Buffet... I don't think I've been on one boat without hearing him played. My friends' kids can now all sing "Margaritaville."
mm: The ladies at Woody's are all looking hot after a couple of painkillers... we call that "rum goggles."
