Bachelor party location ideas??
Planning a bachelor party for sometime in Aug-Oct '05, and just wanted to poll for some ideas where to go for a 2-3 night trip. The requisites are:
- Gambling - Golf - Warmth - Resort Hotel - Accomodating to east and west coasters Ok, I know Vegas covers all these, but was hoping for something different. I realize the Caribbean is usually inconvenient and pricier for the west coasters (although it's mostly east folk), and it's hurricane season, but just thought i'd try and ask around! Thanks.. |
If you could find a hotel in Cancun with a casino.... that could be a good place....
|
Or... the Atlantis in the Bahamas...
|
Or..the Wyndham Nassau in Nassau, Bahamas (they have an all inclusive option, the Crystal Palace Casino is located right in the hotel, and is near an 18- hole PGA-approved golf course).
Another option maybe the Breezes Bahamas (all inclusive, with a younger crowd, but with no under the age of 18 allowed. There is no casino, but it is within walking distance to the Wyndham) I hope this helps. |
My vote is also Nassau its a great place for fun , gambling, warmth and they have some very reasonable hotels and resort. A must to visit is Atlantis... won $4000 on a 75 cent pull on a quarter machine. Just Luck!

Puerto Rico has golf, gambling and resort hotels.
The one that comes to mind is the Hyatt Dorado beach.(never been) I stayed in San Juan, but this is where golfer friends of mine were going. It is a direct flight for the east coasters (most big cities.) The other one is probably Cancun. It is a party town and probably convenient for both sides to meet. The Atlantis is a great fun place, but there are alot of families there. Not to say you can't find some trouble or fun there. I just saw a lot of families there when I was there. Isn't there also a big golf course in Tobago? I was looking into the Hilton there and there was talk about some big PGA golf course there. Don't know if there is any night-life or gambling. In the states, if you are looking at east coast, there is Myrtle beach/ Kiawah island area. I think Myrtle is more of a party area. You can probably suit all of your needs there. Or to avoid Hurricanes all together, go west to Arizona/California. Great golf out there. Tahoe should have all of their snow melted by August! |
