Bachelor Parties in St. Lucia??

A group of us are about to go down for a buddy's wedding and were wondering if anyone had heard of a place to go for a wild Bachelor party. I know the girls are looking to do the same for the bride-to-be. Has any one had one before or have any good ideas??
Thanks

What part of the island / what resort are you staying at?

At the time of the parties we'll be in the southern part of the island, which we know is a little slower, so we're willing to take a taxi up to the Castries area. Ideally we'd love it if there was something fun to do within the Sourfrie area, but I heard there's not much night life to be had.

Mark -FYI the road from the south to the north end of the island is no easy trip-windy, dark roads and the trip takes about 2 hours, no easy venture. If you must my advice woiuld be to hire a water taxi each way! Good luck-not a great or good idea. Soufere is a very very poor 3rd world town.

Maybe someone who has been there can comment on The Bang or the Late Lime. I know one or both are down in that area and has some action but I don't know to what extent.

One other thing, I agree that the trip to Castries is long, even by boat at night it wouldn't be the most pleasant. If you do go by boat, Marigot Bay is closer and they also have nightlife.

Mark - you really might want to see if you can somehow have the bachelor party before you head down there. St. Lucia most likely isn't going to have the type of scene you are looking for. On Fridays there's a "Jump Up" in the north part of the island which is supposedly pretty raucous (my boyfriend and I never made it there) but on the southern side of the island, you're going to be making your own party. Even after the Wednesday night floor show at Bang, the place was emptied out waaaaaaay before midnight. We stayed at the Jalousie Hilton and all of the employees commented to us on how early the guests go to bed... we'd go to one of the bars for a drink around 9 or so, and it would be empty!

Then again, I know nothing about the Marigot Bay area. Good luck!

Ask the matre de where you can go for "adult" enteretainment. I'm sure they have strip clubs down there, but I imagine they'd be filled with some pretty scary locals.
