Atlantis Paradise Island Day Pass
My husband and I will be in Nassau for a day in December on the Norwegian Sky.
We're very interested in visiting the Atlantis Resort. Has anyone done the "Discover Atlantis Tour" for $35 per person or gotten a pass to spend the day at their "Aquaventure" water park? The latter is rather expensive and I was wondering if the experince was worth the money. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Been there done that. I think it is a waste of $. Atlantis is a nice aquarium, but inside is dark and the floors uneven as they simulate rock of some kind. You can visit the hotel and see just as much on the outside wall as you can in the dark inside. The water park was ok, but pricey. Did it once, would not do it again

I'm with Jackm
On a rainy day, the aquarium might be worth the $ for something to do.. But it's NOT a world class aquarium and certainly not worth a trip to a foreign port to see.
As for the waterpark.. it's $110 pp.. and again.. isn't up to par with what you expect from a US waterpark. (in the US.. park prices would be under $40 for a better adventure).
Of course your kids will have fun.. but your the one footing the bill.
There's better things to do in a country where the sea water is crystal clear and the beach sand is powdery and white.
Try a snorkeling tour, beach break, dolphins or sea lions in a more natural environment.
Atlantis may as well be in Vegas.. you don't get any feel for where you are.

Thanks to all. You've given me much to think about. It's just my husband and myself ~ no family or kids. Maybe we'll take the $35 tour only because we haven't seen Atlantis yet and honestly don't plan on ever staying there in the future.
Any recommendations for snorkeling in Freeport?
