Anyone know of any stores on the island to visit for souveniers?? I wanted to get shot glasses for my brothers and the resort gift shop doesnt have anything like that. Thanks!

Anguilla Drugstore has tons of souvenirs -- main one in The Valley on the main road; also a branch at Malliouhana.

The gift shop at Cusinart may have some too.

This is probably not going to help, but worth a try. We stayed at Frangipani, and my SIL wanted to do some shopping. We asked the driver we were using to take us to town, and he did. I don't know what the town was called, and it was small. But it had a record store and a souvenir shop, and the shop had refrigerator magnets, and tee shirts, and that kind of stuff. Not much else to see there - I think there was an ice cream shop, but that could have been a different island I am remembering!

Enjoy Cap, we're hoping to get there within the next year or two.

Try Irie Life around Sanday Ground. Look for the multi-colored sign on the main road heading toward the westend. Before the turnoffs for AGH and Cuisinart.

Don't worry about the weather. We just got back Saturday from a week at Cap. Checked the day before we left and it said the same, rain every day. The weather was perfect all week. A brief shower one morning, otherwise great. Weatherunderground.com was a bit more accurate than weather.com, but again, even when that says rain, it means a chance of a brief shower somewhere on the island. Can't do anything about it, so don't worry, it should be just fine.

Bartlett's by the Sandy Ground roundabout and Sandals and Such on the main road, just after Connors car rental. I assume you have a hire car, if not get one and explore!

Devonish Art Gallery on the West End is a classy placer to buy gifts from local artists. Very nice.

Irie Life on the beach in Sandy Ground and the South Hill store on the hill have hand-painted shotglasses, shooter glasses and magnets, all made in Anguilla. Both stores are open 7 days a week
