Aruba - What to do?

I'll be in Aruba in November...can anyone suggest fun things to do, besides being on the beach all day long? Any activities, sightseeing?

Thanks.

Sergey

There are plenty of things to do: snorkeling, windsurfing, diving, fishing and lots of "things that go fast in the water" for you to drive. There are also land tours by bus, horse or jeep and well as a bar hopping bus tour.

When you get to the airport, be sure to take on of the Little Switzerland shopping bags as it will have coupons for activities.

You may want to rent a car or jeep for a day or two for sightseeing and getting lost on the island.

There's a great drift snorkle on the Tranquillo.

Check with your resort, too, to see if they offer any other activities. Where I stayed, they offered a "fitness walk" in the morning that went to various places. I was often the only one participating, so I had final say in where to go.

We just returned and here's the list of activities we did:

De Palm Island Full Day - lounging around on the beach with snorkeling. AI food/drink, water park for kiddies

Kukoo Kuken Bus - Bar hopping bus. Goes to 4 local bars. hotel pick up and drop off

Havana Tropical Show and Dinner- Las Vegas style dance show with decent meal

Mi Dushi Snorkel Tour - snorkeling of 2 shallow reefs and the Antilla ship wreck

De Palm Beach hopping Tour - took us to Baby Beach, Rodgers Beach and Mangel Halto Mangroves Beach for snorkeling

Red Sail Dinner Cruise - too expensive and the food not great. I would definatley recommend just a cocktail Sunset cruise though

ABC Jeep Tour - takes you all over the Island to many touristy spots and the Natural Pool. Great tour.

Butterfly Farm - Nice exhibit. Worth a look.

There is plently of waterspots on the beach. We wanted to do the Screamer boat, parasailing and tubing, but ran out of time.

Downtown Aruba has some great shopping and there are good resturants all over the Island.

My trip report is posted on here with a link to our prictures. We stayed at the Holiday Inn.

I have been to Aruba twice. You must eat at the Flying Fishbone. It is a little ride to get there. Get there right before sundown. Your table is so close the water, it laps up on your feet and the food is great.

My husband and I went to Aruba for our Honeymoon and absolutely fell in love with it. We stayed at Bucuti (a small couples only resort on Eagle Beach) it was incredible. Some fun things to do...
Rent a Jeep and go off roading on the "rough side of the Island. You can also do this as a tour but we decided to go it alone and it was just fine. (Plus you can kind of follow some of the people out there)

Jolly Pirates snorkle and booze cruise was a blast! The snorkling sites were great there was something for all levels of snorklers.

EAT at Flying Fishbone! It was beautiful, make sure you get your reserveation for sunset and get the table closest to the water.
