Aruba or TC in May
 

Trying to decide whether to go to Aruba or Turks & Caicos in May, 2003. When is the rainy season for T&C? We are looking for a great beach, quiet, somewhat secluded place to stay (anniversary trip). We would like to do things at night, so someplace with alot of nightlife is a plus (casinos, clubs, etc.) I don't believe T&C can offer that, but I know the beach is (from what I have been reading) is just gorgeous. How does it compare to Aruba? Thanks!

Ann, simply looking at your e-maill addy and guessing your age, I'd say Aruba is your best bet.<BR>T&C are very quiet.<BR>Aruba is much more varied and offers casinos, lots more restuarants, activities, etc.

I love the T&C - best beach I have ever seen in the caribbean - the water really is that incredible Turkoise blue but alas for you - VERY quiet - not much nightlife and 1 small casino. - Some nice restaurants however. BTW - there really is no rainy season in the T&C.

If you are looking for nightlife T&C will not be the place. Guaranteed. It is a very quiet Island. I would choose Aruba. Beaches are nice in T&C. That is about it. No night life to speak of.

you sure and heck aren't going to be secluded in Aruba. Secluded spots don't often have the things to do, activity and night life - that's why they are secluded.
