Aruba - Natural Bridge Collapsed
Read on another Aruba forum today that one of Aruba's main tourist attractions, the Natural Bridge, collapsed in Aruba. Thankfully no one was hurt.

ONZGO!
Please take this with the humour intended :-) But what are you of all people doing on the Aruba BB :-D I'm glad we saw it last year - I did think 'Mmmmm....' when we went (I've seen awe inspiring, this wasn't) but now I'm glad we took the time. Looks like Mother Nature has taken back her Natural Bridge |
I read this today. Sad. Mother Nature is on a roll lately, unfortunately. :0(

alya, I originally found out the info on the TA site with reference to that site. I agree with you, I was expecting more as well when we saw the Natural Bridge and was disappointed when we actually did see it:o, but glad I have at least seen it.
Never underestimate the power of Mother Nature. :( |
Everyone said we HAD to go see the natural bridge when we went exploring in Aruba. It was the most visited, most photographed, etc, etc. When I saw it, I said, "This is what we drove out here for?" But,I'm glad I saw it now as the opportunity no longer exists.
