Aruba in November?

Hello,

Well,I am still working on a November destination for 5 nights. Now considering Aruba, I am interested in the low rise area. Bucuti definitely gets my thumbs up, are there other small intimate places anyone cares to recommend?

Also, altho they only receive about 20" rain per year, Oct-Dec, is the most likely. Has anyone traveled mid November, if so what did you exerience? Funny, last time I was there was mid April, it was raining when we landed, lasted for several hours and a bit more the next day--so one never really knows, but thought I would see if I can get any input!!

Thanks in advance
CArol

Twenty inches of annual rainfall is really pretty minimal. The eastern US generally gets about twice that. I don't recall Aruba having a true rainy season but your're probably right that the autumn is a bit rainier than the rest of the year. However, you're not very likely to be faced with much wet weather no matter what month you travel to Aruba.

Try this link. www.arubahouse.com
I am not affiliated with the owner of this house. I provide the link because there is a detailed weather graph with all the info and more that you need to know about Arubas weather. Bon dia :-)

Very few smaller hotels in Aruba, and the Bucuti is most people's top choice in the "smaller" category.

There's another small, less expensive place next door - the Manchebo - we stayed there and liked it a lot. Probably not as nice as Bucuti but also less $$$.

Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort is another option - various size units, some with kitchens.
