Are there restaurants/grocery near Rum Point on Grand Cayman?
 

I was looking at some houses right on the beach near Rum Point with snorkeling nearby that look fantastic. However I also see that Rum Point is about an hour drive from the Seven Mile Beach area. Are there restaurants and/or a grocery store anywhere around the Rum Point end of the island? We don't want to have to drive an hour if we want to go out to eat or pick up a few things.

We have been to Grand Cayman before but it was over ten years ago, and though we visited Rum Point, we stayed on Seven Mile Beach and I don't recall how remote the Rum Point end of the island was.

restaurants:
kaibo yacht club - downstairs is casual, upstairs is more formal & i think dinner only
rum point restaurant - dinner only we really liked the place
rum point beach - grill food, etc and yummy cocktails from beach bar
over the edge - locals place 1/2 way between old man bay & rum point. 3 meals daily
you can get dinner at the reef resort, probably lunch too
there were a couple tiny locals places on the east end
groceries-
in minimall across the street from reef resort. tiny but they pack in a lot of stuff
a small store (not always open) on the road between gun bay & rum point
there is a gas station at the north end of the road that cuts through the middle of the island (the road with botanical gardens on it)
we bought the majority of our groceries at a store near the airport with a liquor store next to it. then picked up milk, salad/vegies, bread etc in the little stores
