Apple vs. Sandals

I have read lots of feeback on Sandals, but what do people think about Apple Vacations. We took a trip with our two small kids in September and were pretty happy. Has anyone stayed with Apple in the Caribbean?

Apple is a tour wholesaler not a resort. Sandals is a all inclusive resort chain. I'm sorry but a bit confused by your post. Please re-ask your question.

Just back from a weeklong trip to Playa del Carmen. We were two families traveling from Florida and Colorado. When we arrived, they bumped us to another hotel - comparable in quality but another 20 miles south - no walking to town at night like our teens had anticipated. We tried to get a comp rental car - took 4 days and much hassle for a one-day car. Apple rep never returned our calls or contacted us in any way. I would never book through Apple again. That said, if NOTHING goes wrong, you're fine. Also, they are notorious for stranding their charter air customers. We booked air on our own, but our friends did the charter with no problems.
