Anyone else having problems w/ the caribbean-on-line website?

I was looking at Curacao restaurant reviews there a few days ago (we're leaving on Friday for a week) and now I'm having problems with anything other than the main page. Is it me? Or is the website having problems?

Yes, I have been unable to access it for several days. I do believe their server is down. Unintentional or intentional is the question.

Yes - I wonder what is going on. I post there a lot. I really miss it.

Here is the answer to the COL problem
Hi all,

I hate doing this, but I am hearing from so many of you that I have
created a little stock answer here to our current woes:

We (through no fault of our own - but the incompetence of Network
Solutions - it's a long story) have temporarily lost the domain name
caribline.com
Unfortunately, this domain houses a lot of our most popular features,
like the forums, the reviews, and the new hotel specials. To add to
the problem, we are finally having good weather here on the Jersey
shore (for those who don't know, I run a seasonal business in NJ) and
after working 14 hour shifts I have not had too much time to work on
the current situation. I was hoping that Network Solutions would have
this fixed by now, but the latest I heard was that it could take 7 to
10 DAYS!(don't ask me why - it seems utterly ridiculous).
Anyway - I am supposed to hear from the actual Department in charge
of the problem at Network Solutions specifically by tomorrow morning
sometime. If this can't be fixed by them in the next 24 to 36 hours,
we are going to go to a new forum system as soon as we can and take
it from there.
I am really sorry for the interruption, and believe me we are doing
all we can - the frustration of having to rely on another company is
horrible.
All I can tell you at this point is to check once a day if you have
the patience. We will be back - it is just a matter of time!
Thanks,
Anthony

Thanks for the update Anthony. I had thought it might have been residual problems from the great power blackout recently experienced up here in the dark north-east.

But boy.... I sure do miss all my friends on the Cuba forum. Will keep my fingers crossed for you and keep checking back.

Thanks Anthony. This must be very frustrating for you. Sorry you have to go through this. Did you create the caribbean-on-line website? If so, thank you very much. It's been a great resource. In case you need, or decide to switch forum systems, and you are shopping around, one of the best I've used is vBulletin Version 2.3.2 (used by www.skatingforums.com)

Yes, the weather here in South Jersey has been great the past 2 days. Which Jersey shore are you at? What kind of business.

Well again, good luck and thank you.

Folks--That wasn't Anthonys post. I copied and pasted the e-mail he sent to me to this forum. Doubt he will see this thread and the questions you asked him
