Any word on th Hyatt re-opening?

There's a chat about this on another forum. Apparently work has not even begun on the shut down portion of the hotel. There are some insurance settlement problems going on. After reading a few recent reviews on another forum, I did notice that no one mentioned/complained about construction work. No wonder.

Husband golfed at the Hyatt's course and commented that it appeared nothing had been done since Ivan to that area. I 'thought'(stressing thought) that there was even talk of it being up for sale. Also heard about the insurance aspect.

I asked the sales person at RedSail on oceanside of the Hyatt and she said the store on that side is closed because the hotel is closed over there and the Hyatt is not giving them any information about reopening.
