Any body visited Boca Chica
 

ANybody have any information regarding the Hilton Coral Harmaca in Boca Chica.

We were there in 1996. Unless they have improved alot (it was not a Hilton then) I would skip it and go to a different part of the DR. The food was just OK, going thru the Santo Domingo airport was rough, i.e. baggage handlers getting tough for excessive tips, the beach was so so, the area was so so and overall it was only fair. The rooms were big and spacious and some restaurants require reservations and long pants for men. I would try La Romana or Punta Cana.

We were there 2 years ago, before it was a Hilton. Sorry, but we didn't like it at all. On the weekend, the resort was like a zoo because, I believe, they sell day passes to the locals. The food was no more than bearable. The pool is loaded with diving birds that poop on everything, including the pool and chairs. It was the first resort in the DR where we really didn't feel safe, because it looked like our balcony door had been broken into. My recommendation is find another resort. If you're looking for a deal, go to Casa Marina Reef on the north side. Nice resort, beautiful views, and a really neat town....Sosua, to visit. It's not a 5 star, but a great resort.

Yes, and I must say that I would NOT recommend it at all! The food was horrendous, service was worse...just an overall BAD experience. I would AVOID the place!
