Finally got the Antigua trip report done. Hopefully someone will find it helpful in planning their trip, or inspire them to visit.

Wonderful!!!

Your website is fantastic!

I know I've said this before but your website is FANTASTIC.
LOVE it. LOVE it. LOVE it. :-)

This past year I thought about doing Antigua for 5 days but as I was doing research, I realized it would not be enough. I'd need a longer stay to not feel like I was always on the go. I can't go to a new place and just stay at my hotel beach without seeing what the country has to offer. You've confirmed my thoughts. Good.

Did I say how much I LOVE your website?? :-D

Very much enjoyed your trip report! I can't explain why, but I've never even heard of the Prickly Pear Island daytrip. I *must* look into it for my next trip to Antigua. Your photos are beautiful--thanks so much for taking the time with your trip reports and posting the link here!

Looks like your website is a huge hit! Thank you for a trip report on one of my favorite islands. We, too, have many pictures of Antigua's cats, mostly in the airport! When we were in Nevis last year, we heard rumors that Antigua was changing - attitude wise. Apparently you didn't find this to be true. Good to hear.
Anxious to read your Nevis report - my FAVORITE island.

Great report; very well done!

Thanks for the nice compliments. You all are too nice. :)

caribtraveler - 5 days is definitely not enough for a first time visit. It was our third visit and we've barely scratched the surface!

ejcrowe - Yes, definitely look into Prickly Pear. If for nothing else but to get a chance to meet Miguel and his family. It's meeting people like them that makes traveling worthwhile for us.
Have you done Eli's Eco Tour before?

Knowing - Oh the airport kitty!! Runway! We didn't see him this time. =(
I think in terms of attitude, generally Antiguans are still friendly, especially the adults and older generation. I think it may be the younger generation that is starting to get the cocky attitude that we are seeing even here in the US.

Love your website! We are going to Puerto Rico this spring and so I checked out those pictures as well. Do you have any Grand CAyman shots? We are going there in June. :)

Well looking at your pictures, I will have to consider going to Antigua. It is not talked about much here on Fodors. Everyone should see those beach pictures.

Brilliant! And for me, quite timely, as I'm about to book a Thanksgiving trip to Antigua (bareboat sailing). Last time I went there was 1991, so I'm sure things have changed!
