I have yet to visit Jumby because I think my husband would find it fun for about 24 hours! he needs to have a vehicle of some kind a car or a boat to get around and explore or he will be out of his mind - Not much of a vacation for me.

I can compare Anguilla to St. Barths for you though. As you know, Anguilla is very flat and arid, and the island itself is not "pretty" but the beaches will cannot compare. The locals on Anguilla are so very friendly and treat you like you are a very welcomed guest in their home (which you are). St. Barths is more standoff ish, but not in a bad way as I guess they tend to have visitors who wish to be left alone. The island is very beautiful, the town, Gustavia is quaint and clean and there is great (upscale) shopping - unlike Anguilla. There are no such thing as half built homes with weeds growing out of the foundation. There is big $$ invested here and it is picture perfect. There is definately island culture - I would describe it as Paris with Palm trees. It is unlike anyplace I have ever experienced, I loved it a unique combination which brings about its own culture. Very upscale, quiet, safe, clean, chic, casual and very relaxing. There is also night life but not like you would get on other islands. Le Select is a great place to go if you are looking for that kind of thing, and you never know who will show up (celebrity wise). Hey if you can't decide, you can always split your trip as its only a 15 minute flight from St. Barths to Anguilla

I have yet to find a resort that is anything like Cap Juluca though. I have to say it is quite a wonderful place.

rwilliams-

Could you elaborate on this quote if you happen to read this?

"We really enjoyed Jumby Bay a lot. Funny thing is that the rooms there had their flaws too, though we enjoyed this aspect more than CJ."

We are going to be at Jumby next week.

Thanks!
