Antigua in October

Has anyone been to Antigua in October?
What is the weather like?
Any info on Galley Bay Resort would be appreciated.

Haven't been to Antigua in October. We were supposed to go once but a hurricane cancelled the trip. We have been there twice in January and stayed at Galley Bay the second time I am putting some information on our trips on the web. I have galley Bay photos posted but haven't done the review yet. I have done Pineapple Beach and that review has a lot of general info on Antigua that may help you.
http://communities.msn.com/WhiteSand...naventryid=100

Mark

Hi mark! I am also considering going to Antigua or the BVI's or the DR in September...what happened when you had to cancel because of a hurricane? Had you bought insurance? Thanks for any information that you can share!

Mariarosa
We didn't cancel the trip GO GO tours canceled it due to damage to the resort and island. We just paid the difference
between the two trips and went in January. BTW I think trip insurance is a must.

Mark

http://www.antigua-barbuda.org
This is the official Antigua website with a great newsgroup and lots of helpful locals.

Definitely get the insurance in October. It's too risky to get hit by a hurricane without it!
