If there are two that's two more than either St. John or Anguilla!

Maybe you could contact the airline and ask them about size restrictions, but it's my recollection that anything much larger than a tote bag had to be gate-checked.

Row 5 is not very far back. There are probably about 14 or 15 rows. Move as far back as possible. But don't get wrapped up in this. It's not that big a deal. Once at Cap, you'll be able to relax and enjoy.

We were planning to go to either CuisinArt on Anguilla or Caneel on St. John in June with a 13-year old girl. To Anguilla, we were going to take a plane to St Maarten and then a puddle jumper to Anguilla. This seems to take all day. Going to St. John seemed easier - plane to St Thomas and then the ferry to Caneel.
This all seems sooooooooooo expensive too. But now that I see you have mentioned villas, I'm wondering if that is a viable option. We don't want to have to do too much arranging, like for meals, towels, etc. Has anyone stayed at these villas and what was the experience like?

Trent & Chris - Cap Jaluca and Caneel would both be great for a honeymoon. Although they're expensive, a honeymoon is the best time to splurge. Since the two islands are opposites, how about a week at each place? That way you could get the best of both... great snorkeling and greenery of St. John vs. the great beaches and food of Anguilla. If money is a big issue, you could opt for the deals you can get in offseason, or you could skip the resorts and go for less pricey accomodations.

Even though I LOVE St. John, I would pick Anguilla (Cap Juluca, if you can afford it) for a honeymoon. The beaches are some of the most beautiful in the world, my opinion, of course. We go on our anniversary every 5 years. Our 30th is coming up!!! It takes us 5 years to save for the trip! (ha!)
Leanne
