Thank you all.....I am not set on one dining atmosphere.....we like a little diversity....

Live Music one night.....soft romantic another night......we can adapt to almost any surroundings......I have stopped worrying...
Looking forward to whatever we decide to do.....Mangos on Monday......thats it!!!!

However.....my proposal has to be done in a
romantic atmosphere.....not hard to find I am sure.....that is my main source of stress....

Thank you all.....

Just one more question....do they have waterskiing or jet skiing anyhere on the island?

No jet skis -- no, no no! I have seen water skiing, tho so you can probably get a boat charter to take you.

Jet Skiis are noisy and bothersome
in tranquil surroundings.....we will save that for a different trip!

islandbeachangel, we thought the owner came across as what we would expect in a NJ diner. Not rude, but not the graciousness we experienced everywhere else. We did not spend any time talking with him -- he may indeed be charming. The restaurant, to us, physically paled in comparison to every other restaurant we went to. We thought it looked like what a seafood restaurant in NY/NJ would look like if you put it on Anguilla. I have heard the food is good and obviously, people seem to like the place. That is why we went there in the first place. We did not go on a Monday night so I am not sure who the band was. I just know they were bad and brutally loud, IMHO. The location is great but we found that most of the restaurants we went to had great locations. Obviously, I am just relating our experience and impressions. Anyone looking for recommendations should look at many reviews and then take a composite. That is what I did and for the most part, we were very pleased with the results. One more thing -- I am from NY and my parents and sister live in NJ. My comments could have referred to a NY diner but hey, that does not sound as good!

Samara you can ski till your hearts contend at CJ. Watersports do an excellent job.
Now--where to propose, lots of quiet spots, Cap in the evening on the beach, near sunset, might be a choice, or a quiet table at Sunset again at Kemia.
It will come to you!
LOL NY-NJ we all have to laugh. Here you are far from home-and reality hits.
It is a small world, and gets smaller all the time!
