Anguilla - LaSirena?
 

Has anyone stayed here? I'd appreciate any opinions you can share....if you are a diver, let me know how the diving is in Anguilla. I know it doesn't come close to Cayman, Bonaire, etc...but we've been there. Thanks!!

We have stayed there twice. The rooms are spacious and quite nice. There are two pools with about a 5 minute walk down a path to a wonderful beach. The hotel staff are helpful and polite. The restaurant is not the best but there are other wonderful eating options on the island. The diving is okay--they have a few sunken boats providing some reasonable diving. It is not as good as Cayman or Bonaire but is actually better than many other islands.

Does so so diving equal so so beaches? Does that mean the ebaches of Cayman and Bonaire are prettier?

Definately not!! Anguilla is consistently rated as having some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Bonaire only has one beach that was stunning (that we saw) "Pink Beach" but it was ruined by Lenny in October. Cayman has tons of beautiful stretches of sand, 7 Mile Beach being the most famous. <BR> <BR>
