Anguilla- Best place to stay
 

Where is the best place to stay that's within walking distance to the restaurants, shops and bars? Most of the hotels say sold out- is that because of the hurricane damage? Looking to go between April-June 2018. Thanks!

Meads Bay is a great place to stay and walking distance to several bars & restaurants. I don’t know what the status is of properties along the beach since the hurricane. Blanchards Beach Shack for instance will reopen in April approximately - check the individual websites or Facebook pages for the latest.

Anguilla is Best with car— Best restaurants are all spread out

during the day you want to hope the beach shacks too

I love Meads Bay, it feels quite central, you can find some of the best resorts in Anguilla there including Malliouhana and Four Seasons Anguilla. You'll find reastaurants along the beach and at the resorts, a supermarket, beach clubs and in my opionion Meads Bay is the best beach on the island.

Shoal Bay Villas…..absolutely loved our stay there.
