Anguilla Beaches
 

We are planning a day trip to Anguilla during our trip to St. Martin. We hope to visit a couple of them and enjoy lunch, a few drinks and just take in the beauty. Which beaches would you choose as your top picks? I am assuming Shoal Bay is the usual top pick but what about Rendezvous, Maundy and Meads...or any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.

All are gorgeous but for just 1 day Shoal works best.

PS you'll definitely want to go back anyway. Are you on a cruise or staying in SXM? You need a car anyway so spend morning exploring, lunch and afternoon at Shoal

Thanks Blamona. We are staying in Orient Beach for a few nights and want to spend one day visiting Anguilla. I have been to St. Barth's during previous trips but looking forward to Anguilla this time.

The beaches of Anguilla blow away the beaches of St Martin and St Barts!

You'll want to come back and stay longer-- the turquoise of Anguilla is mind boggling

My personal favorite is Meads (for the color of the water) followed by Maundy. I find Shoal a bit more touristly although that is a relative term on Anguilla.

We spent the day at Shoal Bay and we had a great time. Beautiful beach and some nice options for food and drink. Thanks for all your suggestions.
