We took the ferry to Anguilla which was just fine. We thought about flying but it meant that we had to wait in this very small airport for over 1 1/2 hours.

CJ offers an "Executive Service". For a fee they will have someone meet you at the airport in SXM, assist you through customs and immigration and take you by private boat to Anguilla. Check directly with the hotel for details and current prices (I think it's around $80US PP).

The executive service can help-its for faster immigration, luggage assistance,
taxi to Marigot ferry. Its $65. The ferries run every 30-40 minutes, and are a great way to go to Anguilla. The private boat charter is $285 each way. Or you just catch a cab outside the airport to Marigot. |
Penny, you got to be kidding, $65 for a taxi to the ferry? That seems awfully high to me. You could probably fly to Anguilla for that. It's been awhile but I thought the taxi was around $20, guess I'm living in the past.

Karen LOL the $60-65 dollar fee is for CJ's executive service, including taxi, for 2 people, or a family. Your correct the regular taxi is much cheaper and very easy to catch to Marigot.
