We stayed there last summer, and it was great for the price. We absolutely LOVED Shoal Bay East, the beach Ku is on, and there was a nice little market located onsite. We paid about $170/night, I think, and we just loved Anguilla overall.

On Tripadvisor.com this resort gets mixed reviews.
I am also anxious to hear what recent travelers are saying as we are looking into affordable honeymoon options in Anguilla and Cuisinart/Cap j are out of our price range.

CA and CJ seem to have gotten ridiculously expensive, even in the shoulder season. (You get a price quote that seems okay, but then you have to "request" the rooms. Upon request you find that the rooms are actually $1,800 or more expensive than originally quoted. This is frustrating.) Having gotten accustomed to CA, I am afraid I will be disappointed by Ku. I am also concerned about the location and its proximity to restaurants. We really enjoyed Altamer, Mangoes, etc. and Ku seems to be a bit out of the way from the restaurants we enjoy (besides Hibernia).
So how will Ku compare? Being a foodie, are there other restaurants near Ku?
I'm afraid Anguilla is slowing slipping off our list.

Stayed at Ku' last Dec courtesy of winning a luxury Link auction. Five nights, breakfast every day, one dinner for two and two massages or a sunset cruise for $875. First time we stayed on the East End and it was a nice change. For years we stayed at frangipani but it is now out of our price range. If you do a HowardC search believe you will find my Ku' trip report. If I were going to stay on the west end I would now Stay at Turtles Nest beach resort. The suites are very nice--open and airy and not budget busters. Believe the second phase of construction is finished now. Jonbon This might be a good choice for you. If you are interested in Providenciales (Provo)Turks and Caicos which is great I can put you in touch with a condo owner at Coral Gardens and a good deal. Ben to Anguilla and Provo over 20 times each so am familiar with both. Check out www.wherewhenhow.com for Turks info. Anguilla Guide is good for Anguilla info.

We booked our honeymoon at the Ku for this coming June. Anymore feedback? Will we be happy here?? I am hearing things are changing for the better.
I would have loved, loved to stay at Cap J but we are trying to keep within a budget of $6000 and I am assuming we will need AT LEAST $2,000 in food/spending money for 10 days in Anguilla/St Martin.
