Anacaona in T and C

If we decide to go to the Anacaona for dinner one night will my husband need a jacket? I was reading a web site and it said that dress there was "elegant." Somehow I have a feeling my definition of elegant and theirs is two different things. what would you call the proper attire for this restaurant?

No jacket required. The dress code is casual elegant which basically means shirt with collar for men and long pants. Anacona has a combo that plays on Wed , Fri amd Sat. Have found the food and service there to be rather inconsistent. It is expensive but probably the most romantic restaurant on Provo

Thanks Howard. Jacket will stay in closet.

Remember, too, that you can walk in from the beach (which is expected and accepted). Therefore, you may dress accordingly.

I believe they did require long pants for men but no jacket. It's a very pretty restaurant and I remember that our meal there was quite good.

FYI--I just returned from Provo. Wanted to go to Anacaona, but I only had sandals. Men need closed-toe shoes. My hotel even called to see if they would let it slide, and they would not.

We were there last June for our 25th anniversary dinner. Wonderful! We enjoyed it so much we went a second time during our stay. The place is beautiful, our food was delicious, and the staff was very accommodating. No, I didn't see jackets for dinner. Enjoy!

We just returned from TCI and had dinner there. The staff was incredibly friendly and we saw no jackets. In fact, one woman had on shorts and a man had on jeans..which surprised me as I had heard that wasn't accepted. It was a wonderful evening, just as each and every one of the evenings were.
