Amond Casuarina Beach Resort

I am looking for information about the newly renovated Almond Casuarina Beach Resort.
If you have recently stayed there or visited, please share your thoughts and observations.

I dont think you'll find too recent stays because this resort has been empty for a while. I think prior to Almond taking it over, it was called just Casuarina. You might find better luck looking for that alone.

Thanks, great point!
I was told that Almond purchased the property and the renovation was complete in early 2008 and re-opened under the Almond namesake in early 2008 also.

Yes, you're right. I believe that is on the same road as Bougainvillea. If so, it's sort of halfway between Oistins and St Lawrence Gap. Okay if you rent a car. I prefer SLG area myself. Nice beach though.

The reopening was delayed until March 2008, there are recent reviews on Tripadvisor.

Going on the other Almond resorts, you should be fine at Casuarina. Grounds and pool are lovely, great beach - sea generally ok, but can be deceiving sometimes.

It is a very large hotel with lovely gardens, lots of families with young children, mostly British guests. The beach is lovely but a little rough in this area. It's a fun place to stay, I know alot of people who go there couple times a year and love it. I've not stayed but have visited for lunch, which was very nice. I thought the drinks were better than the Almond Beach club.
