Almond Beach Club
 

Planning a 20th anniversary trip to Almond Beach Club in a few weeks. has anyone been there recently? Went to Barbados 10 years ago and did not do an all inclusive but good a good deal.<BR>Looking forward to hearing any feedback<BR>Thanks!

I believe this property used to be Heywoods resort. My family and I stayed at Heywoods back in 1986 and it was beautiful!!<BR>

My girlfriend recently stayed at Almond Beach and there were no complaints!<BR><BR>

I visited there 2 weeks ago. We (14 of us), were staying in the Village. My daughter was getting married and we wanted somewhere a little bigger than the Club to cater for a larger party. It was very quiet (adults only), and quite small compared to the Village. I went there a few times for drinks and for some of the treatments.<BR><BR>Small pool area, with a number of beds in the garden area. Dining room was pleasant with good views of the sea but with a very small beach area. You are probably going there for some peace and quiet so you will not be dissappointed. Vists the Village, there is a free bus service.<BR><BR>John.

Now I am thinking we should change to the Village????? Are there places in walking distance to the Club in case we get bored?
