allegro pineapple beach
 

hello, looking to book a trip to antigua, pineapple beach all inclusive resort. Has anyone vacationed there recently. What did you like/dislike. We picked this resort because it includes reef fishing (this is important to us) did anyone fish, if so, did you catch anything and how often can you go. thanks very much.

We were there in January 99 had a great time food service and rooms were all good. As to the reef fishing I did not go but the ones that did caught some fish. I don't remeber what the fish were <BR>exactly some type of grouper I believe. <BR>One word of advice sign up immediatly for the trips at the water sports building as the trips book very quickly. <BR>Also take the picnic trip to bird island <BR>if it is still offered. Try to do the monday trip not the wedensday as the cruise ships are in and bird island loses some of its charm if the cruise crowds are there too. I think you will <BR>have a great time in Antigua.

If you like a good island party, go to Shirley Heights on Sunday evening. They have a steel drum band that plays until dark, then a reggae band afterwards. There is good BBQ, too. That was one of our favorite things on the island!! :-)

Hi, <BR>We booked our honeymoon at the Pineapple resort for December. On another post, someone mentioned that the men were required to wear pants in the restaurants. Is there a dress code? Is it always in effect, or just for dinner? What do people wear at this resort? Thanks! <BR>Bridget =)
