Allegro Aruba or Radisson Cable Bahamas for a single female?
Help! I can't decide on the Radisson Cable Beach, Bahamas,or Allegro Resort in Aruba. I am a 32 yr old single female..I want an all inclusive, nice resort. I just plan on veging on the beach with a frozen drink and sunscreen!! Any recommendations? Thanks. Oh....I am trying to avoid an area such as Cancun...Jenny

Hi Jenny:
While I have never been to Nassau, I have stayed at the Allegro Aruba and I think that you will do just fine there. Aruba is a relatively safe island with friendly locals. The Allegro is situated in the middle of a stretch of hotels along Palm beach so you can easily walk to the other hotels (including the Hyatt next door) if you get board. Red Sail Sports operates their boat tours just at a pier between the Hyatt and the Allegro. I am sure you will have a great time.

Jenny: I have to agree. Aruba is great!
I have been to Cable Beach, but stayed at the Hotel Nassau Beach. We liked it and would go back, but only with a time contraint, like say, four days.
I have been to Aruba twice, but it works best with a week to spend there. I prefer Palm Beach and don't much subscribe to all-inclusive simply because Aruba has some great retaurants.
"Vege" all you want, but go out and see the Casbari rock formation, the Natural Bridge and Baby Beach. Take a snorkel trip on any of the boats along Palm Beach.
Beautiful water, beautiful beaches and great people. The auto license plates proclaim "One Happy Island" and you'll see why.
Have fun!

Jenny,
My husband and I have been to Aruba twice. Just returned last month (July), stayed at the Allegro. We had a wonderful trip!!! The service was excellent, and we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. We liked the all inclusive package because everything was paid. We did not have to be bother with carrying cash unless we left the property. We have also stayed at Radisson Cable Beach in the Bahamas. My vote, Jenny, Aruba hands down!!!
