All-Inclusive with Great Beach for Little Kids

Hello! This website helped me out so much before - I am hoping that everyone can do it again!

My parents are thinking of treating the family to an all-inclusive vacation. Besides being all-inclusive, they want a beach that is good for little kids and bigger kids (ages 2-12). So clear water, soft white sand, and not a lot of surf going on. Our family enjoys beaches/oceans more than the pools, so having dramatic and creative pools are not that important.

Oh, they dont want to break the bank - So places like BVI or USVI are out of the question. We are thinking somewhere in Dominican Republic, Mexico, Costa Rica. It would be over xmas.

My mom and I went to Iberostar Hacienda Dominicus in La ROmana and loved it - but we want to go somewhere new. We would still go to DR but we would like a change.

Our family - 2 adults and 1 child age 13 vaction south over Christmas every year. My suggestion for Punta Cana is Ocean Sand and Blue, This is a newer resort with a great kids club. The Mayan Rivera is also a great option. Look at Viva Maya. This resort is on an amazing beach and reasonable priced.

Also check on the prices at Beaches Negril. That's an excellent resort for families with a great water park, and it's pretty comparable to the cost of the Iberostar in La Romana if you can find a good package.

Thank you everyone. Does anyone know what the Iberostars (Tucan, Paraiso beach, Paraiso Maya, Quetzal)in Playa del Carmen are like? Are they nicely surviving the erosion? Could they be nice for children? Does anyone know which Iberostar has the best beach (clear, calm, palapas).
