Once again, the idiot speaks.
The T&C are NOT part of the British Virgin Island and they are NOT northeast of the Bahamas. They are southeast of the Bahamas.
I am not disturbed and violent. It is irritating in the extreme when people who don't know what they are talking about write their fiction as fact on a public bulletin board.
Now that wasn't nice yelling at that girl saying she knew nothing about what she was speaking about! I think you owe her an apology. I truly do. Also Jill states she is looking for nightlife, I don't think T&C quite fits the bill for nightlife. It is a very quiet Island. Ideal for R&R. That is about it. I find it dull and uninteresting. I am a shopper, and if offers none! It does have a great beach.

We loved Grand Lido Negril & Braco and are going to Grand Lido Sans Souci (all in Jamaica) for our wedding in Dec! No kids anywhere, great beaches, great service, food & drink!!!

Hi Jill : Back to your original question, another couple and ourselves just came back from Punta Cana DR. We stayed at the Occidental Flamenco a 4 1/2 star hotel. There are many five star hotels in Punta Cana area one of which is Secrets Excellance which is a five star adults only resort. Great beach area , minimal nightlife or excursions in Punta Cana but oh that beach! We have travelled to Jamaica a few times, St Lucia, St. John, ST Thomas ect and have never seen anything like that beach except maybe Aruba but it is far more commercial there. Bavaro Beach and other beaches in Punta Cana are still very pristine. We were at Sandals in Montego Bay last year and although we had a fine time the beaches, the people did not compare to Punta Cana. We kept saying WHY haven't we come here before??! The Paridisus(sp?) seemed like it may fit your bill also, a bit upscale, fairly large, small casino and on a great stretch of Bavaro Beach. We found that we were able to do are own thing 7 a la carte restaurants , 3 pools ect when we wanted to and still had plenty of time to do things all together. It was truly the best travel bargain we have every received. Karen
