All-Inclusive Honeymoon Ideas

Hello!

I was wondering what eveyone's favorite all inclusive Caribbean Honeymoon location was! My fiance' and I are both in our early twenties. We are both currently college students, but night life isn't very important to us. We would prefer a place with no children, so we have been looking at various Sandals resorts.

We want a place that is more focused on couples and honeymooners than meeting new people. We want something exotic and unique but at/under 7,000$. We would prefer some place other than Mexico because we have both already been there. We're looking for a mix of activities and excursions (scuba, snorkling, etc.) but also a place where we can have days to relax too. The less we have to plan/organize ourselves during the honeymoon the better as well, we are planning our trip in the middle of May, which is right after finals so being pampered after a lot of stress is a must!

Thanks!

Sandals in St Lucia is not what comes to mind when asking for something "exotic & unique". Examples of exotic & unique for a honeymoon in SLU would be TiKaye or Anse Chastanet, neither of which are AI hotels.

TiKaye offer meal plans for example MAP which is breakfast + one other meal, usually dinner. It's a fabulous place, perfect for honeymoon, but far from any towns although excursions, taxis etc can be arranged for example to the local Friday Fish Fry village. There is great snorkelling and scuba right at the hotel.

Anse Chastanet may offer either MAP or AI packages, it truly is in an exotic location, perfect for a honeymoon. Again, this hotel has a reef right at the hotel, so perfect for snorkelling and scuba. The water is extremely clear, even though the sand is a little dark.

There are many other hotels to choose from apart from these, maybe Rendezvous which is an AI hotel and caters for couples only.

You tagged your posting St. Lucia, yet it seems you are asking about anywhere in the Caribbean other than Mexico. Is that correct or do you just want to focus on St. Lucia????

We've stayed at the Sandals Grande St. Lucia and it was one of the worst AI hotels we have ever been to. Terrible food and service. For that price point it was a waste. For that kind of money there are better places. I would suggest one of the Couples Resorts in Jamaica, the Secrets chain or the Iberostar chain that offers adults only.

Here is a link for adult/couple only AI resorts in the Caribbean.

Hi, I went to Jamaica last year and it was amazing! We stayed at the Tower Isle resort and we've just booked our honeymoon back there for 2014. The resort was lovely and so picturesque. I would highly recommend using Couples Resorts if you're after an all-inclusive honeymoon package to Jamaica. The staff were friendly and I can only compliment the island - http://www.couplesresorts.co.uk/wedd...ns/honeymoons/

Enjoy your honeymoon
