All-Inclusive

What exactly does All-Inclusive mean? I know what it should mean, but sometimes I am wrong. Help me out.
What's included/excluded in the price you pay?

good link for you it does vary a bit

if u go to a lot of all u can eat buffets

odds are u will like AI sort of a one size fits all

at good value...

bookit.com cheapcaribbean.com

Personally prefer to do careful research get great deals

and self guide but works well for many especially families...

Think "Cruise on Land" u will get the vibe.

Happy Planning,

All inclusive usually includes your room and all the food an drinks you want. It is NOT all buffet as most all inclusive resorts also have ala carte restaurants. It also usually includes the use of non motorized water craft and all the activities that go on at the resort.

I don't think there is a single answer to your question. I think it depends what resort you are asking about.

I guess it just takes a lot of research. I wish it was a clear-cut answer. That would make it so much easier.

Thanks for the replies

Unfortunately, 'all inclusive' is defined by the particular resort offering it. It's at their discreation what they do and don't include. There is also a pay level. The more you pay the better the amenities you will get. ie, more ala cart restaurants, better liquor, more included activities, more perks, better rooms, etc.

The typical defination is basically what Schmerl stated. For specifics you'll need to check with the resort you are interested in and see what they offer.

what do I expect it to mean (smile) - leave my wallet at home - unless I want a spa treatment - or some excursion - and just maybe premium wine - yet if they offer premium liquor - they should offer a variety of wines as well.....non motorized water sports - all meals, tips, transfers to /from airport.....those come to mind off the top of my head.
