Airfares for Bahamas Air and Southern Air

Can anyone tell me if, like many airlines, Bahamas Air and or Southern Air ever run specials on their fares or do they remain pretty much the same throughout the year? THX!

Thought I'd try this again. Thanks for any input.

I've never seen specials.

Alot of people use these planes to commute back and forth between the Out Islands and Nassau, for shopping and such.

Most intra island airlines in the Caribbean and even some inter island ones that do runs throughtout the Leeward Islands don't run specials. They usually have a set fare that only ever changes when it increases!

Thanks much for the information. I've flown quite a few innerisland flights in Hawaii and sometimes I'll stumble upon a sale. Doesn't sound like I'll be so lucky in the Bahamas. :-)

You can get some good deals into Nassau on Delta, JetBlue, Continental, USAir but the fare on Bahamas Air is the same year round. The airline is actually government owned. Southern is a very small airline and I would doubt you will see any deals they are pretty much the same price as Bahamas Air.
