Affordable All-Inclusive Resorts for Caribbean Destination Wedding
My fiance and I are hoping to have a destination wedding at an all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean in July 2015. I have looked at all of the Sandals resorts so far but with the price per person per night plus the cost of flights (from NY) for a 4-night stay, the cheapest cost per person I'm finding is around $1200. At this price, there are definitely some guests that won't be able to come that we really want to attend. We are not attached to any specific island, just want all-inclusive with good food and activities for our guests. I would like to find a place for around $800-900 pp per night including flights... does this place exist? Does anyone know if all-inclusives give group discounted rates if you get enough people to come? All suggestions and ideas welcome... thank you in advance!!!

Sandals would not be my first pick anyway. They are overly priced for what they actually offer. If you are looking at Sandals then I'm assuming all your guests will be adults, no children/teens. Do you want an adult/couple only AI resort? Keep in mind that they do cost more than family friendly AI resorts.
Is July set in stone? We were married in July, 2000 and it's one of the worst months to travel for an anniversary. It's hot, humid and most resorts are filled with kids who are out for summer vacation or I have to pay extra $ for an adult's only resort. If I knew then what I know now, we would have gotten married in May. We usually travel the week before Memorial weekend and the crowds and prices are low. Once school is out, the prices go up until the end of August when school is back in season and hurricane season is more prominent.
You best destination options for prices are going to be Mexico, the Dominican Republic or Jamaica. I would sit down with a reputable travel agent. They will be able to provide you with suggestions and maybe have access to some discounts/perks you won't find on the internet.
This is a good site for researching destinations and resorts:
