affordable accomodation for five in St. Johns
 

I'm looking for an affordable place for 2 adults and 3 teenagers on the West side of the island closer to Cruz Bay or so. Any suggestions? I'm afraid Gallows Point might be too noisey being on the bay.

With 3 teenagers, Gallows Point might be the perfect place. (walking dist. to the city....thus you wont be driving to town everytime one of them wants to go somewhere. As for to noisy...simple just ask for one of the units that are not on the harbor..rather one that faces the sea. GP really is a pretty spot and also a good value.<BR><BR>Neg....little or no beach<BR><BR>Otherwise, suggest you stay at the Westin which is a 5 - 10 min cab ride from the city<BR>

With teenagers, you might want to consider a villa with a pool. There are some very beautiful afforable ones, especially during the low season which starts about mid-April. We've booked through both Seaview Vacation Homes and Caribbean Villas. You might want to check out their sites.

I'm afraid Gallows Point will be much too small for 5. Also, they very much frown on families staying (even though they are teens). There are some fantastic villas (one with a pool?)that would be better suited -- and cheaper. Cramming 5 into GP could possibly ruin your trip.

I was hoping for an actual villa recommendation for 5 based on location. Dream catcher or Stone House? one has pool, but the other looks close to the beach
