Advice on hammock-style trip???

A couple of friends and I, who usually stay at La Ruina in Playa Del Carmen, Mex., are planning to go to Jamaica. Any advice on where we can sleep in hammocks, and be beach bums in Jamaica? (It's the life we secretly want to lead!) Safety is a small concern, but close entertainment is more so. We enjoy that European backpacking community lifestyle, even though we aren't European. Any help???
Negril is the place. There is a location that carries hammocks on the beach. I can't remember the name of it. Saw the info at another board. Go to Negril.com and proceed to the "message boards" and post your question there. Trust me, you will get a response. The site has many people who've been to Negril tons of times.

Also try Beingees.com (Beingee.com?) for local Negril listings and links

Also try Beingees.com (Beingee.com?) for local Negril listings and links. You
may be interested in Firefly -- they have kind of a beach-bum anything goes attitude.
