Advance reservations for outdoor activities needed in Aruba during Thanksgiving week?

My wife and I arrive in Aruba on Saturday, November 19 and depart the next Saturday. We had planned on making advance reservations for activities such as De Palm Island, parasailing, etc., prior to our departure; however, the cancellation policies on bad weather appear generally to be that only if the vendor cancels can you get a refund but if you want to, there is no refund. You are only allowed to reschedule. The 10 day forecasts we've been following show too many days where there has been rain and we're wanting to hold on making reservations until there and then on a day by day basis. That said, is this a time of the year in Aruba where we will have few if any problems without advance reservations? Is it that much of the low season that we are safe without booking prior to departure?

We've been to Aruba twice over Thanksgiving week and have never made reservations in advance and we've not had problems with availability. I've so envious! Thanksgiving is a great time to be in Aruba as they've begun to decorate for Christmas. It's so pretty to see the palm trees with the lights on them. Have a wonderful time!

Capri,
The forecast always calls for rain in the Caribbean. Not to worry as if it rains..it usually only lasts no more than 15 minutes or so and then back to sunny skys.

While we were in Aruba it only rained 1 day out of the week and it lasted about 10 minutes.

You should be fine as Muylinda mentioned..to just make the reservations when you get to Aruba.

Have fun!!
