Adaptors for Grenada/Grenadines
We are leaving for Grenada and the Grenadines Wed. and noticed that last trip, we couldn't plug our boom box in and had to go with battery power.
What type of adaptor plug do we need and where can we find one? Is it one of those three-pronged types? (I can't remember what the outlets looked like.) Thanks! :) |
Diana,
Sorry, not the answer to your question, but have a wonderful vacation!! Hope you will do a trip report since you wrote that you will be meeting the child you sponser in Dominica. Happy Travels. Brenda |
Electricity
Voltage is 220 volts - 50 cycles. Appliances rated at 110 volts (US standard) normally work satisfactorily with a transformer. Most hotels provide dual voltage shaver units, but an adaptor plug is necessary for small appliances. http://www.grenadagrenadines.com/travel_tips.html The link will provide you with more info. Thank you both very much!
Brenda, I am getting really excited. Just a few more days! :) Sharkdiver, I appreciate the link. As many times as I have visited that site, you'd think that would have been the first place I looked! |
Diana, have a wonderful time. I am greatly looking forward to hearing about your trip upon your return!

I add my wishes for a wonderful trip ! We all anticipate one of your great trip reports :-) ! ENJOY every second ! Marion |
Diana, just wanted to mention that I saw an auction ending today on SkyAuction for the BelAir Plantation. So far nobody has bid on it--if you don't already have all of your accommodation on Grenada, I thought you might be interested...
Anyway, have a great time! |
