????Accommodation????

What is a great beachfront resort in Anguilla on the Caribbean side? Obviously, Cap Juluca is the cream of the crop. But we are looking to spend around $200 a night. It will be our honeymoon so we would like it as luxurious as possible.

Rendezvous Bay Hotel is nice & on a magnificent beach. You can't get "luxury" in Anguilla for $200/night; the "big three" resorts Malli, CuisinArt & Cap) are waaaay more than that. Frangipani has some good packages & is on one of the most gorgeous beaches you'll ever see but it's the Atlantic. Why does that matter?

Jenny, Mary is right. The ultra plush resorts will break your bank. The good news is going in the summer you can take advantage of the off season rates.

The following website might work for you just fine. HowardC on this message board has nothing but wonderful comments on this small resort. During summer the rates are really good and it includes breakfast. It's a small resort so you would have lots of privacy. The package is a suite with a bedroom, living/dining room and full kitchen so you can make some meals if the restaurant sticker shock is just too much for the wallet.

That's $225/night including breakfast, however, does not include all the taxes which I understand brings it to about $1900.

On this website, if you go to the "Condo Sales" tab and click on floor plans in the last paragraph, you can see the floor plan for the upper floor. Basically there are 3 units on the 2nd floor...Unit A-5, A-6 and A-7. The A-5 and A-6 are the 1 bedroom units offered in the package. A-7 is a Junior Suite that they don't list in the pricing for $220/night, no breakfast, that's smaller but still has the kitchen. The lower floor units have small patios with privacy walls, so not much of a view.

Do a search on Frangipani for lots of reviews.

There are other ideas out there that I'm sure others will post for you. Meanwhile I'll look thru some of the stuff I have to see if there is anything else.

It's the 7 Nights Sun, Sea & Sand Package. I forgot to mention the package under the "Rooms" tab.
